I can now run Trine without the error, however I would like to ask, do you know whether the removal of those files might have unintended consequences on other software that might depend on them? Or whether you know what is the purpose of those files? Yes I do have GoPro Studio installed, so I tried that solution first, and it did solve the issue. If you don't have GoPro installed, could you tell what media players you are using? In some instances, if you have deleted Windows Media Player, re-installing it might help. Are you playing the original Trine or the Enchanted Edition? We are currently looking into mouse issues with the Enchanted Edition, so if you're playing that then all I can really say is to apologize for the inconvenience and ask you to wait.
